Henry Morgan
Henry Morgan was an outstanding Buccaneer who captured Portobelo in 1668
and Panama in 1671 however this success at Panama was not welcome and Morgan was shipped back to England after being arrested,
but, on his arrival in England England came in touble with Spain and Morgan was knighted and sent out as deputy governer
of Jamaica.

Far Eastern Pirates
Pinyin Zheng Zhilong
Pinyin Zheng Zhilong had a great amount of power that he aquired when
he joined a band of pirates that preyed on the Dutch and Chinese and in 1628 he was hired by the government to defend the
coast.
Cheng Ch'eng-Kung (Koxinga)
Cheng controlled the Island of Formosa (Taiwan) and refused to surrender despite
government laws, for long periods of time. By the end of 17th Century most of Chinese piracy was eliminated but Cheng held
on.
